Humble Warrior Yoga

In the heart of a yoga class in 2016, two souls connected. A yoga instructor and a student with a shared dream: to do yoga differently. Their vision was a studio where flows get paired with funky music and instructors add a touch of flair to each class. In 2019, their vision came to life when Gen & Talitha opened the doors of The Mills studio in Manchester, redefining yoga on their terms.
But what started as humble beginnings couldn’t be contained. Through learning to adapt and evolve during the pandemic, they discovered their community’s true strength. It solidified that what they created was special, and by January 2022, Bedford had a piece of the magic that is Humble Warrior. The community grew even more in 2023 with the opening of a studio in Exeter and an unheated studio in Manchester.

Ohana means “family” in Hawaiian. As frequent visitors to and former residents of Maui, we very much “feel the aloha” every time we return. As soon as we land, we rush to the nearest restaurant to grab a bite of our favorite food—poké. Our love for Hawaii and obsession with poké inspired us to bring this delicious dish back to our mainland Ohana, the seacoast.
